Mini-Split or Multi-Split Air Source Heat Pump Rebate 

Available Rebates
$1,000 if you install a mini- or multi-split heat pump in your home that is heated with electricity supplied by BC Hydro or or municipal utility provider.
$1,200 if you install a mini-split heat pump in your home that is heated with electricity supplied by FortisBC or municipal utility provider.
$2,000 if you install a multi-split heat pump in your home that is heated with electricity supplied by FortisBC or municipal utility provider.
$3,000 if you convert your fossil fuel heating system (oil, propane, or natural gas) to a mini- or multi-split heat pump.

ENERGY STAR® natural gas furnace or boiler

$1,300 convert primary heating source from oil, propane or wood to natural gas
install an eligible furnace or boiler
ENERGY STAR natural gas furnace or boiler and standalone water heater

$1,700 convert primary heating source from oil, propane or wood to natural gas
install an eligible furnace or boiler and natural gas water heater that meets BC code requirements

Combination heating and hot water system

$1,700 convert primary heating source from oil, propane or wood to natural gas
install an eligible combination heating and hot water system
only condensing tankless water heaters models are applicable to this system so the additional rebate is $1,000
